This Week on BhavCopyData, Every NIFTY IT ETF on the Site Jumps Between 11% and 14%, DelaPlex Gains 83% on a Real Circuit Driven Rally, and PC Jeweller Sees a Record INR 307 Crore Single Bulk Trade (12 to 16 October 2026)

NSE was open the full five sessions this week, Monday 12 October through Friday 16 October 2026. Across ETFs, corporate bonds and SME stocks, roughly INR 14,338.3 crores changed hands, alongside another INR 15,154.0 crores in block and bulk deals. ETF breadth was strongly positive, 241 funds up against 62 down, as every NIFTY IT linked ETF on the site rallied together. SME breadth was close to even, 255 up against 265 down, even as two stocks posted genuine real circuit driven gains of 50% and 83%. Corporate bonds were positive on balance, 155 up against 98 down, as usual on very thin volume. Here is the detail, based on insights from bhavcopydata.com.

Daily average percent change for ETF, Corporate Bonds, and SME, 12 to 16 October 2026

ETFs, the entire NIFTY IT complex moves as one

ETFs carried INR 12,987.9 crores of the week's lane turnover. Breadth was strongly positive, 241 funds up against 62 down and 7 unchanged, with 2 funds touching a fresh 52 week high this week and none at a 52 week low.

Every one of the ten NIFTY IT tracking ETFs on bhavcopydata.com rose between 11.36% and 14.03% this week, together carrying INR 534.5 crores of turnover at a turnover weighted gain of 11.54%. The UTI NIFTY IT ETF (ITBETA) led at 14.03%, from INR 293.80 to INR 335.03, followed by the DSP NIFTY IT ETF (ITADD) up 12.18% and the NIFTY IT Index linked ITAXIS up 11.95%. The busiest of the ten was the Nippon India ETF Nifty IT (ITBEES), the fifth busiest ETF on the site overall at INR 417.1 crores, up 11.53%. As a category, Sector and Thematic funds rose a turnover weighted 4.26% on INR 1,661.3 crores, with the IT linked funds alone accounting for just under a third of that category's turnover. A move spread this evenly across ten separate funds tracking the same underlying index points to a real, sector wide rerating in NIFTY IT rather than anything specific to one fund.

The international funds that drove last week's biggest ETF story reversed course. The S&P 500 Top 50 Total Return Index linked MASPTOP50 fell 8.52%, from INR 115.11 to INR 105.30, the NYSE FANG+ linked MAFANG fell 4.44%, the NASDAQ100 linked MON100 fell 2.43%, and the NASDAQ Q-50 linked MONQ50, which rose 30.46% just last week, fell a further 3.21%. Six of the seven International category funds on the site closed the week lower, the lone exception being the domestically driven FTSE India Equity linked HFTSEINDIA, up 2.24%. As a category, International funds fell a turnover weighted 4.10% on INR 444.4 crores. Equity Index funds were close to flat on a turnover weighted basis, up 0.68% across INR 6,626.3 crores, and Debt funds were flat, up 0.08% on INR 4,255.8 crores.

Away from IT and International funds, the flagship Nippon India ETF Nifty BeES (NIFTYBEES) rose 2.55%, from INR 257.35 to INR 263.90, on INR 1,132.57 crores of turnover, the busiest non liquid, non IT fund on the site. LIQUIDBEES remained the single busiest ETF on the site at INR 4,089.99 crores, flat for the week as usual for an overnight liquid fund.

Corporate bonds, round number prints on near empty turnover again

Corporate bonds traded INR 33.4 crores across 281 bonds. Breadth was positive on balance, 155 up against 98 down and 28 unchanged, and 22 bonds touched a fresh 52 week high against 10 at a 52 week low.

The week's largest percentage moves again came on turnover too thin to call them real repricing. A 10% PGL bond maturing 2028 (10PGL28) fell 35.98% across three trading sessions this week, each one a single trade of a few thousand rupees landing on a round negative 20.00% daily move, and a 10.75% WCAP bond maturing 2029 (1075WCA29) fell 35.19% the same way, on turnover of barely INR 21,000 across the whole week. A Sammaan Capital secured NCD (925SCL28B) fell 17.23% on just INR 0.0055 crores, its only trade of the week landing after more than two weeks of no activity at all. These are the same thinly traded, infrequently quoted bonds flagged in recent weeks, where one trade meeting a stale prior close produces a large percentage change with no real market behind it.

The week's busiest bond by turnover was a tax free 8.30% NHAI bond (830NHAI27) at INR 1.86 crores, up 0.30%, followed by a 9.60% IIFL NCD (96IIFL28) at INR 1.53 crores, down 0.27%. Away from the stale quote names above, a 9.71% Sammaan Capital secured NCD (971SCL28A) rose 35.75% and a related 10.25% series (888SCL25E) rose 28.71%, both on turnover under INR 0.03 crores for the week, the same pattern working in the other direction.

SME, two names post real, volume backed circuit rallies

SME stocks traded INR 1,317.1 crores across 542 names, with breadth close to even at 255 up and 265 down. 13 stocks touched a fresh 52 week high against 25 at a 52 week low.

Two stocks this week cleared the 50% move threshold bhavcopydata.com checks before treating any figure as real, and both check out as genuine. DelaPlex Limited (DELAPLEX) hit its upper price band on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, four sessions out of five captured directly by the circuit detection on bhavcopydata.com, closing the week 82.59% higher, from INR 94.75 to INR 173.00. Turnover rose through the week's circuit days, from INR 1.5 crores on Monday to a peak of INR 3.2 crores on Thursday, before easing slightly to INR 2.4 crores on Friday, consistent with a real, demand driven move. C K K Retail Mart Limited (CKKRETAIL) spent the first three sessions trading in a tight band around INR 165 to INR 172 before jumping 11.28% on Wednesday and hitting its upper circuit on Thursday and Friday, closing the week 50.38% higher at INR 258.65 on turnover that climbed from under INR 1 crore early in the week to INR 7.5 crores by Friday. Neither stock shows any sign of reverting, and both moves came with the rising volume a real breakout should show rather than the thin, isolated prints that usually flag a stale quote or corporate action.

Surani Steel Tubes Ltd. (SURANI), last week's standout with a four day circuit streak and a 59.97% weekly gain, cooled off this week, falling 18.68% from INR 160.05 to INR 130.15 with no further circuit hits, a reminder that a circuit driven rally does not always hold into the following week.

Flywings Simulat T C Ltd (FWSTC) led ordinary gainers, up 34.99% on INR 25.5 crores of turnover, the heaviest volume behind any mover this week outside the two circuit names above. Veekayem Fash & App Ltd (VEEKAYEM) rose 29.79% to a fresh 52 week high, and Bench Mark Infotech Services Limited (BMISL) rose 27.61%, also to a fresh 52 week high.

On the other side, Oneclick Logistics Ind L (OLIL) fell 29.38% on INR 6.7 crores of turnover, including a single day drop of 32.48% on Thursday that came on INR 1.9 crores of volume, in line with its turnover on every other day that week, not the thin single print that would suggest a stale quote. Papadmalji (PAPADMALJI) fell 22.54% to a fresh 52 week low, and Eventions (EVENTIONS) fell 22.50%, also to a fresh 52 week low.

By turnover, M.V.K. Agro Food Prod Ltd (MVKAGRO) was the busiest SME stock on the site this week at INR 57.99 crores, up 6.48%. Anondita Medicare Limited (ANONDITA) traded INR 44.64 crores while rising 2.23%, and Utssav CZ Gold Jewels Ltd (UTSSAV) traded INR 42.12 crores while rising 20.99%.

This week in smart money, PC Jeweller sees a record single trade

Block and bulk deals totalled INR 15,154.0 crores across 123 stocks this week, of which 49 were net bought, and the combined net tilt across every stock was plus INR 124.5 crores, close to flat. Daily net flow was negative INR 14.2 crores on Monday, close to flat at negative INR 0.2 crores on Tuesday, positive INR 57.9 crores on Wednesday, positive INR 127.7 crores on Thursday and negative INR 46.8 crores on Friday. One caveat on these totals, a trade reported through both the block and bulk windows can appear twice in the combined figures above, so the true distinct value is lower than the headline number.

The week's single largest trade was a bulk deal. Jump Trading Financial India Private Limited bought 1.89 crore shares of PC Jeweller Ltd (PCJEWELLER) at INR 16.22 each on Friday 16 October, worth INR 306.95 crores. The same firm also sold 1.79 crore shares of the same stock the same day at INR 16.31, and HRTI Private Limited both bought 1.17 crore shares and sold 85.31 lakh shares of PCJEWELLER that day too, the kind of reciprocal activity between proprietary trading firms that has shown up repeatedly in recent weeks. Across the full week, PCJEWELLER traded INR 1,236.6 crores in block and bulk deals combined, the most of any stock, netting to just plus INR 54.7 crores despite the scale.

The week's single largest block deal was also a crossing. On Thursday 15 October, BofA Securities Europe SA bought 53.38 lakh shares of Eternal Limited (ETERNAL) at INR 316.00 each from Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE ODI, worth INR 168.67 crores, an exact match in quantity and price that nets to zero and reads as a transfer between institutions rather than a directional bet.

Two trades this week were genuinely one sided and large. On Thursday 15 October, Neomile Corporate Advisory Limited bought 23.05 lakh shares of LCC Project Ltd (LCCPROJECT) worth INR 31.12 crores, and Kirtan Maneklal Rupareliya bought a further 17.78 lakh shares worth INR 23.99 crores the same day, with no offsetting sell recorded, a combined net buy of INR 55.1 crores in a stock with no other deal activity that week. On Friday 16 October, Anant Jain sold 6.51 lakh shares of Paragmilk Foods Ltd (PARAGMILK) worth INR 18.46 crores, also with no offsetting buy.

Ratnaveer Precision Engineering Ltd (RATNAVEER) saw INR 475.0 crores of block and bulk activity this week, mostly the same reciprocal pattern from Arihant Capital Markets Limited buying and selling near identical quantities across four sessions, but underneath that churn, Chungath Karunakaran Padma Kumar sold 17.12 lakh shares on Thursday and a further 5.00 lakh shares on Monday, worth a combined INR 72.6 crores, with no matching buy from the same seller, pulling the stock to a net sell of INR 54.1 crores for the week, the largest net sell figure of any stock.
