NSE traded a full five session week this time, after last week's four session week was shortened by Tuesday's holiday. Across ETFs, corporate bonds and SME stocks, roughly INR 10,304.7 crores changed hands, alongside another INR 14,333.9 crores in block and bulk deals. Breadth turned firmly positive in ETFs and modestly positive in SME stocks, a reversal from last week's heavy declines. Two large shareholder exits, in Sagility Limited (SAGILITY) and Swiggy Limited (SWIGGY), dominated this week's smart money activity. Here is the detail, based on insights from bhavcopydata.com.

ETFs, a pharma and healthcare basket rallies together
ETFs carried INR 9,257.3 crores of the week's lane turnover, breadth sharply positive at 289 funds up against 28 down and 6 unchanged. One fund touched a fresh 52 week high this week and none touched a fresh low.
Seven pharma and healthcare ETFs rose together this week. The Nippon India ETF Nifty Pharma (PHARMABEES) rose 7.80% on INR 96.4 crores of turnover, the ICICI Prudential Nifty Healthcare ETF (HEALTHIETF) rose 7.38% on INR 32.7 crores, the Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty Healthcare ETF (HEALTHY) rose 7.75% on INR 12.7 crores, and the ICICI Prudential Pharma ETF (PHARMAIETF) rose 6.17% on INR 4.4 crores. The Mirae Asset Nifty Healthcare ETF (HEALTHCARE), Axis Nifty Healthcare ETF (HEALTHAXIS), DSP Nifty Healthcare ETF (HEALTHADD) and Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Healthcare ETF (MOHEALTH) all posted gains in the same 6% to 8% range, on thinner turnover that still confirms the broader move rather than contradicting it. A rally this consistent across seven funds tracking three related but distinct pharma and healthcare indices points to a real sector rotation this week, not a single fund anomaly.
On the other side, the Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ ETF (MAFANG) fell 6.08% on INR 100.5 crores of turnover, continuing its decline after last week's 11.27% fall, a combined drop of close to 16% across the two weeks. The DSP Nifty Midsmall Private Banks ETF (MIDBANKADD) fell 5.33% on INR 10.1 crores, the Groww Nifty 200 ETF (GROWWN200) fell 4.93% on thin turnover, and the ICICI Prudential BSE Insurance ETF (INSUREIETF) fell 3.37% on INR 15.7 crores. The Nippon India ETF Nifty BeES (NIFTYBEES) rose 2.20% on INR 840.9 crores, and the Nippon India ETF Nifty IT (ITBEES) rose 1.71% on INR 239.8 crores, both broad benchmark funds moving with the week's generally positive tone.
Corporate bonds, thin as usual with breadth on the positive side
Corporate bonds traded just INR 33.8 crores across 263 bonds. Breadth was positive, 160 up against 83 down and 20 unchanged, and 15 bonds touched a fresh 52 week high against 7 at a 52 week low, a healthier ratio than either ETFs or SME managed this week. The week's most actively traded bond, a 9.05% 2036 security (905SCL36), rose 2.44% on INR 4.4 crores, the only name in the lane with turnover above INR 4 crores. Several bonds showed double digit percentage moves this week on zero or near zero turnover, a single trade meeting a stale quote rather than a real repricing, the same pattern covered in earlier posts.
SME, breadth recovers but fresh lows still outnumber highs
SME stocks traded INR 1,013.6 crores across 539 names, breadth turning positive, 295 up against 229 down and 15 unchanged, a real recovery from last week's 85 up against 447 down. Fresh 52 week lows still outnumbered highs by a wide margin though, 29 against 4, a sign this week's bounce has not undone the damage of recent weeks.
R K Fashion Accessories Limited (RKFAL) fell 50.59% this week on INR 3.3 crores of turnover, the only move beyond the 50% threshold we treat as needing verification before calling it a genuine price move. The stock has been falling steadily since at least 12 October, from INR 76.00 then to INR 29.10 by the close of this week, a decline of close to 62% across three weeks with no single up day in that stretch. It hit its lower price band on both 27 October and 28 October, each day closing with 100% delivery, then continued falling on narrower bands through Thursday and Friday, a tightening from 20% to 10% that typically follows repeated circuit hits under NSE's surveillance framework, an inference on our part rather than something confirmed in the day's data. The decline is isolated to this one stock rather than a sector wide move, and insights from bhavcopydata.com do not show a specific cause, such as a split or bonus issue, behind it. We are flagging this as a real, sustained decline rather than a data artifact, but without a confirmed reason.
Vivid Electromech Limited (VIVIDEL) was the week's largest SME turnover name for a second straight week, falling 10.30% on INR 53.3 crores after last week's 25.65% fall on INR 45.9 crores, a continued decline on real volume both weeks. Credent Connect N Care Limited (CREDENT) rose 26.27% on INR 19.0 crores and Mos Utility Limited (MOS) rose 25.20% on INR 7.4 crores, the two clearest gains among the week's biggest percentage movers backed by meaningful turnover. United Heat Transfer Limited (UHTL) fell 20.39% on INR 6.8 crores, among the larger percentage losers with turnover real enough to take seriously. Elsewhere among the week's most heavily traded SME names, Monolithisch India Limited (MONOLITH) rose 9.31% on INR 48.0 crores, Utssav CZ Gold Jewels Limited (UTSSAV) fell 7.81% on INR 39.5 crores, Prizor Viztech Limited (PRIZOR) rose 11.59% on INR 32.1 crores and V Marc India Limited (VMARCIND) rose 16.08% on INR 28.9 crores.
This week in smart money, two large exits and a crowd of matched trades
Block and bulk deals totalled INR 14,333.9 crores across 93 stocks this week. 45 names were net bought against 37 net sold, and 11 names matched exactly, bought and sold in equal value, the signature of market making activity rather than a directional bet. The week's net flow finished negative, INR 879.7 crores sold more than bought, almost all of it on Friday, plus INR 7.2 crores on Monday, negative INR 44.5 crores on Tuesday, negative INR 33.9 crores on Wednesday, plus INR 36.4 crores on Thursday, then negative INR 844.8 crores on Friday.
Two large exits on Friday drove that swing. Sagility Limited (SAGILITY) saw a large shareholder, Sagility B.V., sell 56.00 crore shares worth INR 2,394.6 crores in a single bulk deal at INR 42.76, the week's largest trade by a wide margin. Six institutional buyers picked up at least INR 1,039.3 crores of it, BNP Paribas Financial Markets buying INR 240.2 crores, Societe Generale buying INR 203.1 crores, Ghisallo Master Fund LP buying INR 190.5 crores, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund buying INR 150.0 crores, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited buying INR 139.3 crores, and Goldman Sachs Funds, Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio, buying INR 116.2 crores, leaving more than half the stake absorbed by buyers too small individually for NSE's disclosure threshold.
Swiggy Limited (SWIGGY) saw a similar exit the same day. Tencent Cloud Europe B.V. sold its entire 5.43 crore share stake, worth INR 981.8 crores, in a block trade at INR 180.65, picked up by six institutional buyers at the same price, Societe Generale taking the largest share at INR 428.9 crores, followed by Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte at INR 238.3 crores, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE at INR 190.6 crores, Nippon India Mutual Fund at INR 50.0 crores, Ghisallo Master Fund LP at INR 47.1 crores, and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund across four smaller trades totalling INR 27.0 crores. Unlike Sagility's exit, every share Tencent sold was accounted for by named buyers, the trade balancing to the rupee. Both stocks also saw fresh short buildup in their futures contracts the same week, a crossover between large trade activity and derivatives positioning that we cover in full in our companion futures and options wrap.
Jump Trading Financial India Private Limited and HRTI Private Limited kept trading PC Jeweller Ltd (PCJEWELLER) against themselves this week, INR 991.9 crores of combined activity against a net of just INR 17.1 crores, far smaller than last week's INR 4,206.4 crores but the same matched signature. The same handful of proprietary trading firms, AlphaGrep Securities Private Limited, Microcurves Trading Private Limited, HRTI Private Limited, QE Securities LLP, Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited and Plutus Wealth Management LLP, rotated through several other names this week in the same pattern. Steel Strips Wheels Limited (SSWL) saw INR 765.5 crores of combined activity against a net of INR 17.0 crores, Aeroflex Industries Ltd (AEROFLEX) saw INR 696.7 crores against a net of just INR 3.8 crores, and Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (APOLLO) saw INR 603.0 crores against a net of INR 0.9 crores. Tonbo Imaging India Ltd (TONBO), the subject of heavy institutional interest in its market debut last week, saw INR 415.1 crores of activity this week with a net of exactly zero, every trade this time coming from the same proprietary firms rather than the mutual funds and insurers that bought in on listing week. Birlasoft Limited (BSOFT) was a partial exception, INR 525.5 crores of activity netting to a real INR 53.1 crores bought, and Kaynes Technology India Ltd (KAYNES) saw INR 234.4 crores of activity net to almost nothing, INR 0.2 crores.
The clearest one sided buy of the week came in Sri Lotus Developers and Realty Limited (LOTUSDEV), where Smallcap World Fund Inc bought 1.41 crore shares worth INR 339.4 crores in a single bulk deal on Friday at INR 240.00, with no offsetting sell, the full value counted as a net buy.
