This Week on BhavCopyData, Bank and Capital Market ETFs Lead a Broad Rally as Just One of 314 Funds Falls, Peak XV Partners Exits INR 1,295.8 Crores of Billionbrains Garage (GROWW), and a New SME Listing Doubles on Debut (2 to 6 November 2026)

NSE traded a full five session week. Across ETFs, corporate bonds and SME stocks, roughly INR 14,194.1 crores changed hands, alongside another INR 16,379.2 crores in block and bulk deals. Breadth was overwhelmingly positive in ETFs, where only one fund out of 314 ended the week lower, and modestly positive in SME stocks. Two large shareholder exits, in Billionbrains Garage Ventures Limited (GROWW) and Alivus Life Sciences Ltd (ALIVUS), dominated this week's smart money activity. Here is the detail, based on insights from bhavcopydata.com.

Daily average percent change for ETF, Corporate Bonds, and SME, 2 to 6 November 2026

ETFs, bank and capital market funds rally together as almost nothing falls

ETFs carried INR 12,829.0 crores of the week's lane turnover, breadth about as one sided as this series has recorded, 308 funds up against just 1 down and 5 unchanged. Three funds touched a fresh 52 week high this week and none touched a fresh low. Breadth stayed strongly positive every single day, 266 up against 40 down on Monday, 262 against 44 on Tuesday, 285 against 22 on Wednesday and 285 against 21 on Thursday, before cooling to 190 up against 114 down on Friday, still a positive day, just a quieter one.

Bank and capital market focused ETFs led the week. The Tata Nifty Private Bank ETF (NPBET) rose 11.98% on INR 1.8 crores of turnover, the Bajaj Finserv BSE Top 10 Banks ETF (BANK10BETF) rose 11.13% on INR 0.8 crores, the Motilal Oswal Nifty Capital Markets ETF (MOCAPITAL) rose 10.91% on INR 43.8 crores, the Aditya Birla Sun Life BSE Top 10 Banks ETF (ABSL10BANK) rose 10.26% on INR 41.8 crores, and the Zerodha BSE Top 10 Banks ETF (BANKCASE) rose 10.22% on INR 0.7 crores. The Groww Nifty Capital Markets ETF (GROWWCAPM) rose 10.10%, the Mirae Asset Nifty Financial Services ETF (BFSI) rose 9.88%, the ICICI Prudential Nifty Financial Services Ex Bank ETF (FINIETF) rose 9.81% on INR 9.1 crores, the Edelweiss BSE Top 10 Bank ETF (EBANK10) rose 9.81% on INR 13.8 crores, and the Motilal Oswal Nifty Realty ETF (MOREALTY) rose 9.62% on INR 52.1 crores. Among the broad benchmark funds that carry most of the lane's turnover, the Nippon India ETF Nifty BeES (NIFTYBEES) rose 8.11% on INR 1,945.4 crores, the Nippon India ETF Bank BeES (BANKBEES) rose 7.76% on INR 327.0 crores, and the Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 ETF (MON100) rose 3.10% on INR 216.4 crores, a rally broad enough to lift both domestic banking funds and a US technology tracker in the same week.

The Mirae Asset S&P 500 Top 50 ETF (MASPTOP50) fell 0.33% on INR 40.0 crores of turnover, the only ETF among 314 to end the week lower. A handful of liquid and overnight rate ETFs, which track a near fixed reference rate rather than the equity market, stayed essentially flat as they always do, including the Nippon India ETF Liquid BeES (LIQUIDBEES), which carried the week's largest ETF turnover at INR 2,454.1 crores on a 0.00% change.

Corporate bonds, modest gains on the thinnest turnover in this series

Corporate bonds traded INR 34.7 crores across 271 bonds, breadth positive, 142 up against 102 down and 27 unchanged, and 23 bonds touched a fresh 52 week high against 16 at a 52 week low. The week's most actively traded bond, a 9.05% 2036 security (905SCL36), rose 0.42% on INR 8.8 crores, the only name in the lane with turnover above INR 5 crores, continuing as the lane's most liquid bond for a second straight week. The TAX FREE 7.35% Series IIA bond (735NHAI31) fell 0.71% on INR 3.0 crores and the 8.30% PA Tax Free Series 2 bond (830NHAI27) rose 0.16% on INR 1.3 crores.

An 8.46% Tax Free Series 2A bond (846REC28) rose 17.21% this week and touched a fresh 52 week high, but on turnover of just INR 0.06 crores, a handful of lakhs changing hands rather than a real repricing. On the other side, a 12% 2028 bond (12VPT28) fell 48.79% and a separate 12% 2028 bond (12AIL28) fell 48.75%, both touching a 52 week low, each on turnover under INR 0.01 crores. These are the same thin, stale quote moves this series has flagged before in corporate bonds, a single trade meeting an old price rather than the market actually repricing the bond.

SME, a new listing doubles while breadth stays mixed

SME stocks traded INR 1,330.3 crores across 557 names, breadth positive, 307 up against 237 down and 13 unchanged. Fresh 52 week lows still outnumbered highs, 21 against 7, the same pattern of more stocks setting new lows than new highs that has shown up most weeks in this series even when the headline breadth count is positive.

Maxwell Engineering Solutions Limited (MAXENGS) does not appear anywhere in insights from bhavcopydata.com before 6 November, this week's only trading day for the stock, where it closed at INR 315.20 against a reference price of INR 158.00, a rise of 99.49% on INR 63.2 crores of turnover and a fresh 52 week high. This reads as a new SME listing debuting this week, not a repricing of an existing stock, since there is no prior trading history to compare against.

A separate and more unusual case is Urban Enviro Waste Limited (URBAN-RE), which also has no trading history before this week. It opened trading on 4 November at a reference price of INR 19.10, fell 39.79% that day to INR 11.50 on just INR 0.03 crores of turnover, rose 6.96% to INR 12.30 on 5 November, then fell 35.77% to INR 7.90 on 6 November, a net decline of 58.64% across its three trading days so far, each day on turnover under INR 0.5 crores. The move was isolated to this one symbol rather than shared across SME that week. A separately listed, continuously traded symbol, Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited (URBAN), fell a more ordinary 17.27% the same week. The "RE" suffix and the short, thinly traded window are consistent with a rights entitlement security, which NSE lists for a brief period during a rights issue subscription window and which typically trades with little price stability since it has no settled fair value of its own, though insights from bhavcopydata.com cannot confirm this without the underlying corporate announcement, so we are flagging the pattern rather than asserting the cause.

Away from these two, Smarten Power Systems Ltd (SMARTEN) rose 37.24% on INR 6.4 crores, HGS (India) Limited (HGSINDIALT) rose 40.00% on INR 23.2 crores and touched a 52 week high, and Shivalic Power Control Limited (SPCL) rose 33.33% on INR 1.2 crores. Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd (ANLON) fell 22.53% on INR 0.9 crores, Qualiance International Limited (QUALIANCE) fell 21.94% on INR 10.2 crores and touched a 52 week low, and Exim Routes Limited (EXIMROUTES) fell 21.04% on INR 2.3 crores, also a 52 week low. Among the week's most heavily traded SME names, Aimtron Electronics Ltd (AIMTRON) rose 15.64% on INR 66.4 crores, the lane's largest SME turnover this week, V Marc India Limited (VMARCIND) rose 6.34% on INR 42.7 crores, Divine Power Energy Ltd (DPEL) rose 17.73% on INR 41.7 crores, and Anawil Wire and Engineering Ltd (ANAWIL) fell 11.02% on INR 28.9 crores.

This week in smart money, two large exits and a crowd of matched trades

Block and bulk deals totalled INR 16,379.2 crores across 105 stocks this week. 54 names were net bought against 47 net sold, with the rest matching out almost exactly even. The week's net flow finished negative, INR 413.4 crores sold more than bought, almost all of it on Friday. Monday added INR 322.0 crores net bought, Tuesday INR 72.0 crores, Wednesday INR 89.2 crores and Thursday INR 117.1 crores, before Friday swung to negative INR 1,013.7 crores, driven by the two exits below.

Billionbrains Garage Ventures Limited (GROWW) saw Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1 sell 6.02 crore shares worth INR 1,295.8 crores in a single bulk deal on Friday at INR 215.20, the week's largest trade. Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE bought 3.55 crore shares worth INR 763.7 crores at INR 215.01 the same day, leaving the stock a net sell of INR 532.2 crores on the week.

Alivus Life Sciences Ltd (ALIVUS) saw a similar exit the same day. Nirma Limited sold 28.46 lakh shares worth INR 389.9 crores in a block deal at INR 1,370.00, a little under half of the stock's total sell side for the week, leaving a net sell of INR 291.3 crores once the rest of the week's buying is counted in. V2 Retail Limited (V2RETAIL) saw a smaller version of the same pattern on Friday, Ricon Commodities Private Limited selling 98.65 lakh shares worth INR 157.8 crores at INR 160.00 while Aditya Kumar Halwasiya bought 83.00 lakh shares worth INR 132.8 crores at the same price, a net sell of INR 133.0 crores. Both Alivus Life Sciences Ltd (ALIVUS) and PI Industries Ltd (PIIND), covered below, also saw futures positioning move the same direction as their cash market activity this week, detailed in full in our companion futures and options wrap.

Surya Laxmi Infracon Private Limited bought and Dinesh R Agarwal sold 50 lakh shares of Gallantt Ispat Limited (GALLANTT) worth INR 250.5 crores on Monday at INR 501.00, a trade that appears identically in both NSE's block and bulk deal disclosures for the same quantity and price, worth noting since it would otherwise look like INR 1,002.0 crores of activity rather than the one real INR 250.5 crore trade it actually was.

The clearest matched trade crowd of the week formed in BLS Polymers Limited (BLSPOLY), which carried the single largest total smart money value of the week at INR 2,747.9 crores, against a net of just INR 30.7 crores bought. More than two dozen proprietary trading and sub broker entities, including GRT Strategic Ventures LLP, Microcurves Trading Private Limited, NK Securities Research Private Limited, Irage Broking Services LLP, Alphagrep Securities Private Limited, Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited and Plutus Wealth Management LLP, traded in and out of the stock across four separate days, the clearest market making signature in this series this week. A smaller version of the same crowd, including Acme Capital Market Limited, HRTI Private Limited and QE Securities LLP, rotated through Technocraft Ventures Ltd (TECHNOCRAF) and Marsons Limited (MARSONS), each netting to less than 1% of its total value traded. Jump Trading Financial India Private Limited bought and sold the exact same 7.14 crore shares of PC Jeweller Ltd (PCJEWELLER) at INR 15.40 on Thursday, a trade that nets to exactly zero. PI Industries Ltd (PIIND) saw a similar pattern, Graviton Research Capital LLP buying and selling within INR 1.3 crores of each other on Thursday, a small net sell against a stock whose futures contract also saw a sharp fall this week.

EAAA India Alternatives Limited (EDELALTS) was the week's cleanest net buy, HDFC Mutual Fund, Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors Private Limited and Larsen and Toubro Limited together buying INR 316.4 crores worth of shares across the week with no offsetting sell recorded at all, a pattern consistent with a primary allotment such as a qualified institutional placement rather than an existing holder's stake changing hands, though insights from bhavcopydata.com cannot confirm the exact mechanism from the trade data alone.
